I know that a one-size-fits-all approach does not truly fit anyone.
My work is firmly rooted in existential humanism, meaning that the search for meaning and self-realization is central to our work together. I believe that you are the expert on you and your experience and it is my great honor to walk with you on your path. The relationship that we will collaboratively build in session will aid you on your healing journey. I am skilled at creating a non-judgmental environment and accepting you where you are, no matter where that is, as we work to shine light on what once seemed too dark to face.
I know from experience as a client, and practitioner, that reaching out for help is one of the hardest parts of healing. I am ready to receive you with warmth and understanding, and I honor your courage in taking this first step. Sometimes when we are suffering we feel alone. Let's work towards healing together.
Children: I believe that children can benefit greatly from a structured and supportive play therapy environment.
I am passionate about helping children to utilize their innate and unique expressive talents to gain the tools they need for a successful future.
Teens: After years of dedication to this phase of life, I have gained fluency in walking with teens through their transition into adulthood and helping them to access their inner wisdom.
I am also skilled in facilitating family sessions to increase meaningful dialogue within the family system.
You give your all to your kids, no matter their age. You deserve a safe and supportive space of your own to navigate your feelings and experiences.
It’s normal to have big feelings while you watch your child grow and make choices for themselves, and it is my honor to show up for you the way you show up for others.
I am especially prepared to support you through your process after a child or loved one has come out on the LGBTQ+ spectrum.
As a queer psychotherapist, I am passionate about providing services to LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life.
I have trained extensively at the Pacific Pride Foundation, the largest LGBTQ+ Center between Los Angeles and San Francisco, for the past 4 years with Patrick Lyra Lanier, LMFT and Bren Fraser, LMFT.
I specialize in providing LGBTQ+ competent psychotherapy, with a focus on transgender children, adolescents, and adults of all ages.
If you are in need of a letter to reach your transition goals, give me a call and let’s discuss how I can support you.
